Congrats! You’ve made it to Napa Valley. You’re super excited to drink all the wine your liver can consume, look at the beautiful vineyards, and soak up the sun. But wait, you’re missing one thing… FOOD.

While Napa has some magnificent wineries, please do not sleep on the delicious food this lovely place has to offer. Here is a foodie guide to all the restaurants I visited while in Wine Country. ENJOY!

1. Gott’s Roadside for a late lunch

Finally touched down in Napa, and burgers is all we need. I saw a lot of posts at Gott’s before we came, so me being me, I had to see what it was about. Let’s get into this menu. Gott’s literally has an extensive menu of all the burgers you could think of. Definitely a burger dream! OH, and it’s only right that we order wine at a burger joint right. Still classy!

2. Brunch: The Napa Valley General Store

Oh Brunch, Oh Brunch. How we adore you! I woke up in the morning feeling oh so good because I would be able to indulge in some fresh eggs, bacon, and potatoes. I believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but BRUNCH is what really gets the day started. With good food, great service, and mimosas filled to the rim. Man, it gets no better than this.

3. Dinner: Charlie Palmer Steak House (before my big surprise)

Hand me steak with lobster and i’m good! Charlie Palmer steakhouse was the best, and the location was even better. It was located in our hotel, so I literally just had to get cute and walk downstairs. I thought it was just going to be a night filled with food and drinks, but honey it was so much more than that. After this delicious meal, me and my boo headed upstairs to Sky and Vine, the rooftop bar at the hotel. While we were there, I had my eyes on some more libations, but Sterling clearly had other plans. YES. HE PROPOSED TO ME! I’m still in shock until this day. So to all my ladies out there, if you get lobster and steak you just might be a fiancé by the end of the night. haha

4. Food Adventures: Oxbow Public Market: (Kitchen Door)

After a long day of wine tasting, it’s only right that we fuel up properly. This has to be one of my favorite meals in Napa. Yet again, I EVERY meal was my favorite in Napa. This was at Kitchen Door in the market. When I tell you this food was unmatched. It was really so delicious. We were just wandering around the market and came across this place. Shoutout to us for being so darn adventurous.

5. IT’S MY BIRTHDAY: Breakfast in bed @ The Archer Hotel (9/2/19)

HAPPY FREAKIN’ BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!! Whoop whoop! I’ve never had breakfast in bed and I thought this would be the perfect time. Now, you know I couldn't just do the regular egg biscuit for breakfast this morning. No! I had to do I BIG. “WHAT, REAL BIG!” haha. Well, I thought it was. I’m a lover of avocado toast, and just slap some salmon on it and I’ll love you forever. I’m serious. Then I decided to be extra and get a bread basket. Lol I guess it helped soak up all the alcohol I had been drinking.

6. Birthday Dinner: Cole’s Chop House

You couldn’t possibly think that we were going to have an epic dinner. This was my first time having lamb, and BOY it was delicious. Just look at this plate. How could my greedy self not be in heaven. This was one of the greatest birthday dinners ever. I wouldn't want it any other way. So sad this was the last night in Napa :(

I know I barely made a dent in all the food spots Napa has to offer. There are so many famous and well-known restaurants all throughout the Valley. I really hope that this inspires you to plan your next trip to Napa Valley and experience not only the wonderful wines but the fabulous food as well. As all my winos say “Cheers!” Until next time.
